FRENDS replaced an earlier integration platform solution that did not meet Aalto University’s requirements of easy usage and speed to deliver integrations.
“Our integration platform Frends enable a range of automations that will significantly enhance user service experiences. Process automation between systems is a huge growth area and it is playing an increasingly important role for businesses”, says Jukka Rautio, Managing Director at HiQ Finland.
HiQ was chosen as Aalto’s integration partner through a public procurement procedure in 2018.
“We have been able to implement a vast number of integrations in a brief time span. From operational point of view, tasks that use to take several months, can now be delivered within weeks. Changes in the production environment and bringing a new integration platform have streamlined integration capabilities and we can deliver even more demanding integration entities with less knowledge”, says Patrik Maltusch at Aalto University.
