The framework agreement is signed for two years with a possibility to extend for an additional three.

ESS is short for the European Spallation Source, and the research center will be used within a number of different fields. The facility is based on the world’s most powerful neutron source and it will enable new opportunities for researchers within e.g. life sciences, environmental technology, physics, and energy.

ESS is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. The facility will have the highest possible capacity and quality.
