HiQ strategic partner to Dekra Industrial AB

DEKRA is a world leader in inspection services and services to improve safety. HiQ has now won a major assignment from DEKRA Industrial AB that focuses on digitalisation and development of the business and operations.

The new assignment further consolidates HiQ’s successful collaboration with the DEKRA Group.

“DEKRA works in a very important sector, improving safety on our roads, at work and in the home. We are proud to have been chosen to support and assist the company on its digital journey,” says Magnus Gudéhn, Managing Director at HiQ Stockholm.

DEKRA Industrial AB’s work e.g. includes periodic inspections of machinery and lifting devices, and it is in this area that the company sees great potential for development.

“We want to offer the market’s best and most user-friendly inspection system. We want to simplify the daily work for our colleagues out in the field, by helping them to more easily identify needs and set the appropriate processes in motion. Put simply, we want to help our co-workers to create even more value for the customers they meet,” says Jörgen Backersgård, CEO of DEKRA Industrial in Sweden.

The company seeks to achieve this aim through digital solutions, automated processes and smart connections to other systems. The project is a full-service undertaking for HiQ – from the initial outline to development and implementation, through to administration.

“We were looking for an innovative partner who can deliver the entire chain. HiQ has many examples of helping its customers on their digital journey,” Backersgård explains.

HiQ has good experience of collaboration with the DEKRA Group. Together with DEKRA Automotive AB, HiQ has previously developed a solution that has simplified the car inspection process and reduced inspection times from 30 minutes to just 20.

“We are proud of the confidence and we look forward to helping DEKRA to become an even better partner for its customers. In the long run this will lead to improved safety for all of us. HiQ has proven expertise in the entire chain that connects technology, people and business, which makes us a given partner within digital innovation and simplification,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.

HiQ expands in three Swedish cities following the acquisition of Headlight

Earlier this year, HiQ acquired Headlight Group, consisting of Headlight and Relight. This acquisition is an important part of HiQ’s expansion journey and will bring new job opportunities to the cities of Västerås, Örebro and Borlänge due to the great recruitment need. The news comes just weeks after the acquisition was announced and is an important part of HiQ’s effort to become Northern Europe’s leading tech consulting firm.

– We’re so excited to be expanding to Borlänge and in the cities of Örebro and Västerås! This merger enables us to expand further in the Swedish market and bring new jobs to all three cities while also affording us the opportunity to work together with companies in these areas. This is a good step for us on our expansion journey. Let’s go big!, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO of HiQ.

HiQ & BatteryLoop develop more efficient charging infrastructure

BatteryLoop, a company which gives electric car batteries a second life as energy storage systems, launched an energy storage system in the spring of 2021 which makes it possible, among other things, to build charging infrastructure in places where the electricity grid suffers power shortages. In collaboration with HiQ, BatteryLoop is now developing a digital platform that makes it possible to maximize power in the charging infrastructure. The digital platform enables an estimate as to how long a battery has left to live, thus its economic value in a circular business model.

– It is fantastic that our team is joining BatteryLoop on this journey. Circular business models and sustainability are important to us at HiQ, and it really shows with this project. There is an incredible amount to do to streamline the use of energy in society and this solution is an important contribution to that process, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO of HiQ.
