HiQ signs a new framework agreement with SVT

HiQ signs a framework agreement with Sveriges Television (SVT), concerning development of the Swedish public service broadcaster’s digital services.

The agreement, which also includes Utbildningsradion, is signed for two years with an option to extend for an additional two.

“These are two exciting clients to work with and we at HiQ are proud to have their continued confidence.  We are happy to now deepen our collaboration also in the field of development,” says Poja Daroui, client manager at HiQ in Stockholm. 

The framework agreement covers services within e.g. systems development (both front-end and back-end), app development, testing and process management. Since before, HiQ also has assignments for SVT and Utbildningsradion within UX, concept development and project management.

“In today’s enormous variety of choices, there is strong demand for interesting content delivered via user-friendly digital platforms. It has to be simple for the users. These challenges are well in line with HiQs offer, as we master the entire chain of technology, people, and business,” says Magnus Gudéhn, Managing Director at HiQ in Stockholm. 

Media, gaming, and entertainment is an important market segment for HiQ. For example, HiQ works with several leading brands and streaming services within movies, TV, and music – both in the Nordic region and abroad.

It’s more fun and simple for us as consumers and it also creates both possibilities and challenges for the players in the market. HiQ develops new eskilstuna.se

Eskilstuna municipality chooses HiQ to develop the new eskilstuna.se with the purpose of transforming it into a website based on users’ needs. The website should make it easy for users to find the information they need to get answers to their questions or to carry out errands online. HiQ developed a new design for the website, a completely new search function and in parallel, built in AI to increase the precision. 

– This is a nice project for us at HiQ and a very good collaboration with Eskilstuna municipality with the work on the new eskilstuna.se. Being able to help simplify things for them and their citizens, to create a more accessible Eskilstuna, has been very rewarding especially since they are so happy with their new website, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO of HiQ.

HiQ’s Frends platform in collaboration with Karlskrona showcased at the 100 Intelligent Cities Challenge

HiQ’s integration platform Frends, in collaboration with Karlskrona Municipality (Sweden), and together with the platforms ArcGIS and Abou, has successfully launched a solution that makes it easier to rent somewhere to moor a boat. The project is part of the European Commission’s 100 Intelligent Cities Challenge (ICC), which supports 136 cities in the use of advanced technology for intelligent, green and socially responsible recovery.

– It’s really exciting to see our smart Frends platform being used to simplify and improve the lives of people living in Blekinge. And it’s even more exciting to get noticed on the global arena. I’m looking forward to be following this project, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO of HiQ.
