HiQ simplifies for the travellers in Västmanland County

HiQ helps VL to modernize and simplify its main communication channel www.vl.se. Each year, millions of journeys are carried out by public transport in the county. The new solution improves for both travellers and personnel.

”We wanted an external web that exudes 2015, both in looks and usability as well as while working with it. The new vl.se is fast, accessible, user-friendly and simplifies everyday life for everyone who travels with us. Naturally, the solution is designed to work just as well in a smartphone as on a computer or tablet,” says Marie Christensson, Head of Marketing and information at VL/Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten Västmanland.

The new solution focuses on the travellers’ needs, enabling them to quickly and easily find the most important functionality in order to plan and carry out their trips.

”We are proud to have this confidence and of the solution that is now launched. Mobility and digitisation drives the development and we at HiQ have the experience and know-how to help our clients utilize the new technology. We are constantly broadening our operations and winning more and more assignments within areas such as web and mobility. Our broadening also means that we are requiting new employees,” says Anders Nilsson at HiQ Mälardalen.

”IT is business critical in all market segments and at all levels. This creates great opportunities for HiQ and for our clients. Our digital business is growing substantially and today amounts to around ten per cent of our turnover. Our range and vast experience is a huge strength, for example when helping public transport in Västmanland County to simplify for its travellers,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO at HiQ.
