HiQ helps the city of Västerås to simplify and improve the contact with both citizens and visitors, by creating a new version of the main channel for communication; www.vasteras.se.
"We are happy to launch a new platform that is both good-looking, fast and userfriendly.It works on all devices and will be of great use for our citizens and foreveryone visiting Västerås. The new solution also simplifies for those who work withthe website. We've had a good collaboration with HiQ throughout the project," says Mats Lindskog, acting Director of Communications at the city of Västerås.
Vasteras.se contains large amounts of public information concerning everything fromschools and recreational facilities to building permits and traffic regulations.Information that in various ways influences all citizens in Västerås and thereforeneeds to be easily accessible.
"We're very proud of this confidence. It has been an exciting project and the endresult simplifies for all of us who live here. A municipality has a huge quantity ofinformation that needs to be public, and with large amounts of content, usability andsimplicity is especially important. This project is yet another example of how we atHiQ are constantly broadening and increasing our digital business. A developmentwhich means that we continue recruiting new talent," says Anders Nilsson at HiQ.
An increasing part of HiQ's turnover comes from assignments within digital strategyand communication, in which the company helps its clients to maximise theopportunities of new technology, as well as handle the challenges. This part isconstantly growing as the clients request HiQ's ability to take overall responsibility.
