HiQ embarks on an exciting collaboration with SAS, in which HiQ helps the airline company with the development, support, management and operation of business critical systems.

HiQ becomes strategic partner to SAS and the agreement is signed for four and a half years with an option to extend.

28 million travellers yearly. 1,100 flights every day. Having the right crew at the right place is completely business critical for SAS. In the new agreement with SAS, HiQ has much use from the company’s vast experience in this type of systems.

“We are already established in parts of the aviation industry and are now taking the next big step in this exciting segment as we help SAS to streamline their operations. In the initial phase of the collaboration, HiQ takes over some personnel in Denmark, as well as affected systems. Thereafter, development, support and management will be under HiQ’s direction.

“SAS constantly works with becoming more efficient. With HiQ’s help we hope to become even better at planning our operations, decreasing costs and creating further value for our customers,” says Hans-Petter Aanby, CIO at SAS.

HiQ & BatteryLoop develop more efficient charging infrastructure

BatteryLoop, a company which gives electric car batteries a second life as energy storage systems, launched an energy storage system in the spring of 2021 which makes it possible, among other things, to build charging infrastructure in places where the electricity grid suffers power shortages. In collaboration with HiQ, BatteryLoop is now developing a digital platform that makes it possible to maximize power in the charging infrastructure. The digital platform enables an estimate as to how long a battery has left to live, thus its economic value in a circular business model.

– It is fantastic that our team is joining BatteryLoop on this journey. Circular business models and sustainability are important to us at HiQ, and it really shows with this project. There is an incredible amount to do to streamline the use of energy in society and this solution is an important contribution to that process, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO of HiQ.
