HiQ develops sales support applications for Seco Tools

HiQ supports Seco Tools’ business processes through the development of applications and systems that will support the industrial group’s account managers, customers and administrators.

The new solutions are presented at Seco Tools marketing convention in December.

“Today, IT and digital solutions are business critical in all market segments, not least within the industry area. We have a good collaboration with Seco Tools and look forward to seeing the solutions have a positive effect on the group’s operations”, says Anders Nilsson at HiQ.

HiQ helps Seco Tools to develop several different applications, among other things a new mobile CRM system. Common for the new solutions is that they all offer the account managers and customers simple and fast access to important information. For example, the account managers will now have a central area for contacts, customer information, leads, orders, stock, prices and statistics for key products.

“Before, our sales companies world-over used to create systems of their own, but now we are creating a central high-quality system for everyone. It’s mobile so that the account managers can use it on any device. Our systems haven’t been available everywhere but now they will be,” says Anders Dahlberg, IT-Manager for Information, Product & Marketing Systems at Seco Tools.

“We are passionate about simplifying people’s lives and we are experts on mobility.  In the collaboration with Seco Tools, as in many of our projects, simplifying and mobility are in focus. We have created innovative and award-winning mobile solutions in many industries and are happy to use our experience when helping Seco Tools to simplify the workday for both employees and customers,” says Lars Stugemo, CEO and President at HiQ.

Seco Tools is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high performance metal cutting tools. The customers are located all over the world and the group invests large resources in developing new products and production processes. Seco Tools is headquartered in Fagersta, Sweden and represented in more than 50 countries, through 40 subsidiaries, distributors and channel partners.
