HiQ partners with Rovaniemi Energy

HiQ begins a partnership with Rovaniemi Energy. With this exciting collaboration, HiQ reinforces its position as an IT partner in the energy industry.

“Our goal is to renew our operations and improve our competitiveness. The architecture review is the first step on this path”, says Hannu Vaara, Head of IT Management at Rovaniemi Energy.

Rovaniemi Energy Ltd generates heat and electricity, and maintains district heating distribution in the Rovaniemi region. In addition, the company provides heating to the rest of entire Lapland. At the first stage of the partnership, HiQ will carry out a general review of Rovaniemi Energy’s systems in order to identify the suitable methods and sequence for process automation.

“Besides making the work easier for our employees, automation will enable us to offer better services and an improved overall service experience for our customers. For the implementation of the project, we wanted to find a partner who knows well the challenges of our industry and has strong experience in process automation”, Vaara continues.

“Services are rapidly becoming multi-channelled, and the proportion of self-service is increasing in all industries. Automation is essential in this development. Our diverse expertise ensures that process automation is carried out on the terms of the business, not the technology”, explains Jukka Rautio, Managing Director of HiQ Finland.
