HiQ Mälardalen (Mälaren Valley) is based in Arboga and Västerås and works on advanced IT development throughout the west Mälaren Valley region. Clients include leading technology companies such as ABB, Atlas Copco, BAE Systems Bofors, BAE Systems Hägglunds, Bombardier, FMV (the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), Saab, SEB, Volvo, the Swedish Road Administration and others. We work both on clients’ premises and on large projects in our own premises.
Within the area of simulation we have more than 15 years’ experience of developing advanced simulators for a number of different applications. We develop simulation frameworks and simulators to support advanced product development, we develop simulators for training technical personnel on complex systems and we also develop training simulators for training fighter pilots on the JAS 39 Gripen. We are also a leader in quality assurance.
HiQ Mälardalen is today in a unique position within this area, with top expertise in modelling and simulation, development of advanced real-time systems in multiprocessor environments, integration and maintenance of complex systems and advanced recycling of software.
