Generation Flinga
HiQ collaborates with Generation Flinga, run by extreme skiers Janette Hargin and Sara Orrensjö. The ambition of Generation Flinga is to create a forum for marketing talented female skiers. The collaboration includes a documentary and a ski film entitled “Catch us if you can”.
Generation Flinga is a very exciting project, which we have chosen to support. Partly it’s a question of raising the profile of talented, go-ahead girls, and partly it’s because downhill skiing as a sport – and extreme skiing in particular – has much in common with the activities of HiQ. It’s all about technology, tough challenges and speed.
Generation Flinga’s founders have been active in the skiing world for many years and have long dreamt of making their own ski film. Janette Hargin is one of Sweden’s best all-round skiers with nine years’ experience in the Alpine Ski World Cup, two Olympic Games and three World Championships behind her, plus Swedish and Scandinavian titles in extreme skiing. Some of the world’s leading female skiers participate in the project, including Anja Pärson.
